Goal: Produce Possessive 's in Response to Questions
Sample Goal:
Client will produce the possessive ‘s in a full sentence to indicate possession in response to a question (such as “whose ball is this?”) with at least 80% accuracy.

Therapy Phases:
- Using the Possessive ‘s in Short Phrases: Client will correctly use the possessive ‘s in a short phrase (Carrie’s ball) with modeling and prompting from the clinician with at least 80% accuracy.
- Using the Possessive ‘s in Sentences: Client will use the possessive ‘s in carrier sentences when describing pictures (I see Carrie’s ball) with modeling and prompting from the clinician with at least 80% accuracy.
- Using the Possessive ‘s in Response to a Question: Client will produce the possessive ‘s in a full sentence to indicate possession in response to a question (such as “whose ball is this?”) with at least 80% accuracy.
What’s Next?
- Once the client has mastered using the possessive ‘s in response to your questions, encourage all adults in the client’s life to remind him/her when he/she forgets to add the possessive ‘s in regular conversation.
