Goal: Produce the /r/ Sound
Sample Goal:
Student will produce the /r/ sound in all word positions in sentences in the therapy environment.

Start with the Mixed /r/ No-Prep Kit. If the child isn’t able to work on all of the different types of /r/ at once, you can work on them individually by selecting one of the specific /r/ sound kits below.
Therapy Phases:
- /r/ in Isolation: Student will produce the /r/ sound in isolation (by itself, not in a word or with other sounds)
- /r/ in Syllables: Student will produce the /r/ sound in non-sense syllables
- /r/ in Words: Student will produce the /r/ sound in all positions of single words (beginning of the word, middle of the word, and end of the word)
- /r/ in Phrases: Student will produce the /r/ sound in all word positions of 2-3 word phrases
- /r/ in Sentences: Student will produce the /r/ sound in all word positions of simple sentences
