• Breaking up syllables in multi-syllabic words
• Slow down rapid speakers
  • stop and think spot before talking
  • touch one dot per word
  • ask open-ended questions
• Final Consonant Deletion
  • velcro dot next to each spot on pacing board, touch velcro for final sound
• Use as visual reminder to slow down on a child’s desk
• Fade by having them tap their finger or toe with each word (without the pacing board)
• Use as a reinforcer to fill up the pacing board before earning a reward or break
