Make Some Simple Flip Books/Decks:

  • 3 decks: subjects (he/she), verbs, and objects
  • Lay them out and help the student build a sentence, then flip one deck

Add a Grammatical Marker:

  • Change the structure so that you’re expanding using grammatical markers (ex: add “is” and “-ing” to make it “she is ___-ing ___)

Add a Descriptor:

  • Help the child use an adverb to describe the verb or an adjective to describe the noun
