Goal: Eliminate Velar Fronting
Sample Goal:
Student will eliminate the process of velar fronting by spontaneously producing back consonants (/k/, /g/, “ng”) in sentences with at least 80% accuracy.

Therapy Phases:
- Auditory Discrimination: Student will receptively identify the difference between two minimal pair words where the words sound the same except that one word has a back sound and the other has a front sound (example: key and tea) with at least 80% accuracy.
- Production in Single Words: Student will produce single words with back sounds (/k/, /g/, “ng”) with at least 80% accuracy.
- Production in Phrases: Student will produce back sounds (/k/, /g/, “ng”) in 2-3 word phrases with at least 80% accuracy.
- Production in Sentences: Student will produce back sounds (/k/, /g/, “ng”) in sentences with at least 80% accuracy.
