Goal: Produce Sound Blends

Sample Goal:

Student will produce consonant sound blends in all word positions in sentences in the therapy environment with 80% accuracy.

We have start-to-finish therapy kits that will give you everything you need to practice this skill in therapy and send home homework.  Click the packet below to open it.  Then, print it out and place it in the child’s notebook or binder.

Choose the type of blends that the child needs to work on and print that one.  Work on one blend type at a time.

Therapy Phases:

  1. Sound blends in Syllables: Student will produce consonant sound blends in nonsense syllables
  2. Sound blends in Words: Student will produce consonant sound blends in all positions of single words (beginning of the word, middle of the word, and end of the word)
  3. Sound blends in Phrases: Student will produce consonant sound blends in all word positions of 2-3 word phrases
  4. Sound blends in Sentences: Student will produce consonant sound blends in all word positions of simple sentences
