Welcome to Week 4 of Flexible Location Therapy!

Today, we’re talking about how to set up your planning and your data for Flexible-Location Therapy. By this point, I know what you’re probably thinking—that I’m about to tell you to start doing all your data collection and planning online. But actually, that’s not the case!

Every person needs to figure out what makes sense for them, but for me, this is one area where I really prefer to use a good ol’ fashioned notebook. I say this with two caveats, though.

If we’re going to use physical notebooks, we need to:

  1. Make sure we’re taking steps to maintain client confidentiality just in case the notebook ever ends up in someone else’s hands.

  2. Remember to always (always!) bring the notebook home with us at the end of the day. As we learned this year, we never know when our schools/clinics may suddenly need to close.

As long as you’re prepared to do those two things, getting set up for Flexible-Location planning and data collection is a breeze! Hit play on the video below to get started, and don’t forget to reference this week’s corresponding workbook section.
