For children who need to start working on the /v/ sound but can’t yet say it correctly. These activities will allow them to listen for the /v/ sound, which will increase their awareness of the sound. This is great for sending home for homework for children who are not yet able to consistently say the sound correctly.
What an appetizing way to do speech! Place something edible (like a blueberry or cheerio) on each of the words on the tree. Have the child “pick” the food off by saying each word and placing the food in the basket. When he has said the words, he can eat the harvest!
